The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in partnership with the Partners for Resilience (PfR) and with support from the European Commission – Directorate General for International Partnerships (DG-INTPA), has been implementing a project to scale up Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction (Eco-DRR) in various countries and communities for enhancing people’s resilience to disasters.  

Over the last 3 years, UNEP in partnership with the Partners for Resilience (PfR) has developed and demonstrated Eco-DRR models in 5 countries: Ethiopia, Uganda, Haiti, India, and Indonesia.
