Join us in discussing how Nature can reduce the impacts of disasters and climate change. This interactive workshop will provide you with an exclusive opportunity to engage with youth leaders and experts on the topic. This is a chance for you to provide your thoughts and ideas on how we can all get involved in working together with nature for increasing our resilience. In this session, you will hear from youth leaders, and experts representing the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) who will share their perspectives on the role of online learning for youth and how to access high-quality educational materials in multiple languages. We will also be celebrating the upcoming launch of our new online course on ‘Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Disaster and Climate Resilience’. This course has been developed by experts from UNEP and the Partnership for Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDDR), with support from the European Union. Youth leaders from around the world have also taken part by developing videos for this course. In fact, we will be showcasing highlights from our youth videos during the workshop. So, don’t miss out! If you’re interested in being part of a global youth community which is actively engaging in Nature-based Solutions and learning more about our course, please join our workshop. We would love to meet you and hear from you! You can also register for our MOOC: PEDRR.ORG/MOOC Let’s learn together, share ideas, and get empowered in the fight against the climate crisis!
