Inputs from civil society, scientists, Indigenous Peoples and others emphasize combining engineered coastal infrastructure and early warning systems with Nature-based Solutions such as mangroves, wetlands and coral reefs to reduce disaster risks, protect communities, and strengthen coastal resilience.
