This policy brief examines the impacts of heat waves and drought on women’s food security, economic productivity, and care work. To tackle these challenges it provides four policy recommendations such as training women farmers in smart agriculture, designing interventions with women-led organizations, supporting community early warnings and launching community-based awareness campaigns to enhance community and ecosystem resilience to climate disasters.
