Abstract

This study on flood susceptibility mapping in Sindh, Pakistan, demonstrates the effectiveness of the frequency ratio (FR) and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) models in identifying high-risk zones, aiding disaster risk reduction. It underscores the importance of accurate FSM for informed decision-making, benefiting policymakers and stakeholders. The findings support the development of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to enhance community and ecosystem resilience against flash floods.
