Kathy B. McLeod - Director, Climate Risk & Resilience

With a focus on risks that result from a changing climate, Kathy leads The Nature Conservancy’s work to mainstream using nature to reduce risks of storms, flooding and sea level rise to people and communities. This global strategy aims to help communities adapt to climate change and reduce disaster risk by protecting and restoring the natural features that reduce flooding in rivers and coasts through cutting edge science, evaluation tools and worldwide demonstration projects. Further, we leverage the resulting findings through policy reform and relationships with the reinsurance and engineering sectors.
