Global Advocacy

PEDRR raises awareness of the role of ecosystems in disaster risk reduction and adaptation to climate change-related risks. PEDRR provides technical expertise to influence global and national policies and participates regularly at the ISDR Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, the International Disaster Reduction Conference (IDRC), the IUCN World Conservation Congress, and many other international and regional events. It also convenes its own international workshops and roundtable events.
