 PEDRR Shoutout : World Wetlands Day Roundtable Discussion in Geneva
On 2nd February, a Roundtable Discussion on “Healthy Wetlands, Resilient Communities” for the Geneva community took place. More than 40 representatives from Permanent Missions in Geneva and approximately 150 people attended the event. The discussions described practical examples as well as challenges of promoting wetlands for disaster risk reduction. IUCN launches wetlands for resilience project in Lower Mekong countries
|

On the occasion of World Wetlands Day 2017, the International Union for Conservation of Nature launched a project that builds climate resilience by harnessing the benefits of wetlands in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, to be implemented until 2020. Continue reading.
