Challenges for mainstreaming ecosystem-based adaptation into the international climate agenda
Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) promotes the sustainable use of biodiversity and ecosystem services to adapt to climate change, and has been defended as an effective and cost-efficient way of reducing climate change impacts. This paper reviews recent literature on EbA and identifies key areas that need more attention from scientists and policymakers to incorporate Ecosystem-based Adaptation into the international climate policy agenda. Coral reefs for coastal protection: a new methodological and engineering approach in Grenada

Coral reefs play a critical role in wave attenuation but little direct connection has been drawn between the effects and impacts on shorelines. This paper presents a systematic approach to assess the protective role of coral reefs on the shoreline of Grenville Bay, Grenada in Spain. Read the full publication here.
