Waterway Embankment Demonstrations Prove Successful
After two years, the efforts to secure the shoreline embankment along the Gulf Intra-Coastal Waterway near LaRose, Louisiana, have been met with great success. This approach prevents saltwater intrusion into the waterway which threatens fresh water marshes. Read more about the challenges to strengthening shorelines here.
