Urban Nature Atlas
The EU Horizon 2020 project Naturvation has launched this week an Urban Nature Atlas with almost 1,000 examples of nature-based solutions from across 100 European cities. Take a closer look to the many projects here
Asia-Pacific countries identify priority action to build resilience of agriculture to disasters
A report by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) showed that significant losses caused by natural hazards in developing countries occur in the agricultural sector. Addressing the vulnerability of food and agricultural systems to disasters will prove critical, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Read more here
City Climate Vulnerability Assessment and Identification of Ecosystem-based Adaptation Interventions
The UNFCCC Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) published an update on its ongoing technical assistance aiming to promote city climate vulnerability assessment and identification of ecosystem-based adaptation interventions in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR). Read the full report here
