Nature-based climate adaptation city design for Copenhagen wins Scandinavia’s biggest Architecture Award


A Copenhagen-based architectural firm won the award for a nature-based climate adaptation of Inner Copenhagen. The project averts flooding while creating a series of new green urban spaces. Construction will start in 2019 and finish in 2022. Find project details here.

Where can green infrastructure be most effective? Chicago uses sensors to evaluate green storm water solutions

A new pilot project by City Digital, a consortium of public, private and higher education entities, is testing the effectiveness of different green storm water projects using sensors and cloud computing. To learn more about this project, read the web article.
