Major cities in Pakistan, such as Karachi, face severe urban flooding due to poor landscape management. The Sponge City (SC) concept—promoted as part of the broader framework of Nature-based Solutions—offers sustainable strategies to build more resilient urban environments. While experts generally support the SC approach, implementation has yet to begin. This research explores what factors could motivate professionals to integrate and innovate SC concepts within their practices.
