E-learning course "Resilience Action Planning - Implementing the Sendai Framework at the Local Level"
Starting on 27 February, this E-learning course developed by UNITAR and UNISDR’s Global Education and Training Institute, aims to strengthen the capacities of local government officials and disaster management professionals to design and implement plans and programmes that reduce disaster risk and enhance resilience. Registration for the Annual Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation, hosted in Bonn, Germany, is open until 10 March. Workshop on scaling up nature-based flood risk reduction
The World Bank, Deltares, UNDP and Ecoshape are organizing a two-day workshop with focus on producing guidelines for the effective implementation of green and hybrid solutions to reduce flood risk in urban, riverine and coastal landscapes.
