Rajeev Issar - Policy Specialist, Climate Risks and Risk Governance
Rajeev is a Policy Specialist (Climate Risks and Risk Governance) in UNDP focusing on formulating institutional, governance, policy and programmatic frameworks for disaster and climate risk management; disaster/climate risk analysis and impact assessments from different time thresholds, harmonize DRR-adaptation, climate-conflict-sustainable development interface and contribute to global policy discourse from disaster-climate risk management perspective.
Mr Issar has previosu experience as a Resilience, DRR and Adaptation Officer in UN Secretary-General’s Climate Change Support Team for Climate Summit, a Regional Team Manager for climate risk management in the Himalayan region, and a Additional Private Secretary with the Government of India.
